If your primary goal is immediate competitive visibility, this may not be the right fit.

Not every model fits every family.

The Enrollment Process

Enrollment follows a simple four-step structure.

Step 1 — Submit an Application

Complete the short alignment application below.

This is not a tryout.

We are not evaluating talent.

We are ensuring clarity of expectations and cohort fit.

Application questions include:

  • Why does your child want to train?
  • What has your experience in youth sports been so far?
  • What matters most to your family — development, competition, exposure, something else?
  • How does your child respond to correction?
  • Are you aligned with a no-yelling, development-first environment?
Step 2 — Alignment Review

Applications are reviewed in order of submission.

We are assessing:

  • Alignment with philosophy
  • Cohort capacity
  • Commitment readiness

If space is available and alignment is clear, you will be invited to proceed.

Step 3 — Parent Orientation

Before training begins, all enrolled families attend a short orientation session.

We will review:

  • Coaching standards
  • Session structure
  • Communication expectations
  • Commitment requirements

Clarity prevents drift.

Step 4 — Begin the 12-Week Development Block

Athletes train:

2 sessions per week75–90 minutes per session12 weeks minimum commitment

Important Clarifications

Eastside Development Academy is:

  • A development academy
  • A fundamentals-first environment
  • A structured training model

  • A travel team
  • A tournament organization
  • A recruiting service
  • A ranking system

Athletes are free to participate in outside competition if they choose.

EDA installs the base that sustains performance in those environments.
